Attire: Christmas Best
The beautifully landscaped, small, stone church was originally designed as a chapel for the deaf. The Pilgrim Chapel and its parsonage house were built in 1941 and 1942, respectively.
During the AIDS epidemic and the initial panic that accompanied it, Pilgrim Chapel performed memorial services for AIDS victims and their loved ones.
Today, the Pilgrim Center continues to pursue the goals of improving the community in which we live for all people.

Join us to celebrate with cocktails, heavy aps, a live jazz band.
Hidden from the long arm of Prohibition-era law, Kansas City’s speakeasies welcomed travelers and locals alike. An affectionate nod to the city’s glamorous, freewheeling nightlife in days gone by, P.S. is Hotel Phillips’ contemporary incarnation of the 1930s speakeasy.
